With a visionary goal of effecting positive social change and fostering inclusive growth, DHWANI Foundation operates in diverse areas, including Art and Culture, Women Empowerment, Education, Healthcare, Environmental conservation, and Livelihood enhancement. As the name implies, DHWANI Foundation was established with the purpose of representing the collective voice of everyone in this land. However, it transcends mere symbolism. The foundation aims to offer a diverse range of cultural learning experiences under one roof. Guided by compassion, collaboration, and community empowerment, DHWANI Foundation tackles pressing social challenges head-on. Through innovative interventions and grassroots initiatives, they strive to improve the lives of vulnerable populations. Leveraging the expertise of their dedicated team and forging partnerships with local stakeholders, the foundation harnesses the collective power of action to create lasting impact and build resilient communities.
Dr. Shwetha Madappadi
Founder
Dr. Shwetha Madappadi, is the founder of Dhwani Foundation Mysore. She is a writer, singer, and young entrepreneur. She pursued B.A degree in Bharatanatyam from Sandesha Lalitha Kala Mahavidyalaya, Mangalore and Post Graduation degree in Folklore from Mysore University and M. A. in Literature from Bangalore University. At post-graduation she was a topper for Mysore university and had bagged 3 gold medals. She has completed her P. G. Diploma in Linguistics from Mysore University. She is learning carnatic music from Vidushi Ranjini Venkatesh. Her articles have been published in various Kannada magazines. “Maledaivagalu”, “So Ennire” (Edited), “Kadugollara Bedagina Padagalu” (Edited), “Appagere Timmaraju”, “Patyapreeti” are some of the books written by her. She also served as an assistant professor in various universities and Institutions. She is the Former Member of “Karnataka Are Bhashe Samskriti Mattu Sahitya Academy”. She has performed music programs in various State and National level platforms.
